Arts and Gardens’ Director, Ruth Oakley, was awarded The Gardens Trust’s national essay prize in 2016.

Ruth’s essay One Gigantic Gallery: Land Art in Australia provides a history of Australian land art, comparing it with the 1960s’ and 70s’ land art movements of Britain and America.
