Arts and Gardens returns for more exhilarating tree adventures!
During summer, 239 students from six Haringey primary schools learned tree songs with soprano, Ellie Bowers-Jolley, and composer and guitarist on the ground, Olly Weeks. They also worked with brilliant drama leaders Carly McCann and Sara Page, before ascending the boughs of mature plane trees in Alexandra Palace Park, led by expert climbing instructors from The Great Big Tree Climbing Company.
Our Tree Climbing Song Sessions finished with…you guessed it…a big singalong from the treetops, for school staff and passersby in the park, who stopped in surprise and delight. Music up high and as never experienced before!
