The history of trees through the eyes, ears and voices of great writers, painters and musicians.
The Art of Tree Climbing is an exhilarating arboricultural and arts programme for Key Stages Two and Three.
Children will learn how to identify oak, plane, beech, birch and ash trees using poems, stories, songs and paintings, working with a team of Arts and Gardens leaders.
They’ll then roll up their sleeves to climb the canopies of nearby mature trees with The Great Big Tree Climbing Company. An experience to build confidence, fitness and never to forget!
An advance site visit will be necessary, in-school or at nearby parks, to identify appropriate trees for climbing.
If your school would like to learn more please contact Arts and Gardens via firstname.lastname@example.org or +44 (0)20 3663 7374.
